During the November 2008 Presidential election, Steve Ngo, a first time candidate, had to increase his name recognition and remind voters that drop down ballot races were just as important as voting for President. With a comprehensive campaign, direct mail strategy and rigorous field program, Steve received 89,445 votes and became the first Vietnamese American to be elected in San Francisco
